INTRODUCING OUR OUTDOOR FEATURE
Toronto Paramedic Services: Emergency Support Unit (ESU) Toronto Paramedic Services is the largest municipal land ambulance service in Canada, and the sole emergency ambulance service in Toronto. The service includes various special units and teams to ensure readiness at all levels, including the Emergency Task Force, Heavy Urban Search and Rescue, and the Emergency Support Unit (ESU). At the 2024 Trauma Conference, equipment from the ESU will be on display to view: The unit includes support buses with the capacity to treat and transport eight stretcher and five ambulatory patients, support trucks carrying various medical and mass casualty equipment, and small utility for special events when manoeuvring quickly through crowds is important. |
